Shipping & Local Pick Up

How much is shipping?

We offer flat rate tracked shipping across Canada - shipping varies based on province; for U.S. orders, tracked shipping is $8.50 (USD).

Some smaller items can be sent untracked lettermail in Canada. This option is not available for U.S. orders.

We also offer free shipping on orders of $175 (CAD) within Canada and the Continental United States. 

Local Hamilton Pickup

We offer free local pickup on the Hamilton Mountain. We are located close to Bernie Arbour Stadium, as well as the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and the Red Hill Valley Parkway. 

Once your order is ready for pickup you will receive an email from us (please check your junk mail) letting you know your package is ready for pickup and providing you with our address.

We do not set appointments for pickups. When you let us know what day you would like to pick up, your order will be labelled and waiting for you in our porch pick up box as of 8 am that day. Just swing by when it works for you!

How long does shipping take?

We aim to ship all items within 1 week. We are based in Ontario, Canada.

Shipping within Canada generally takes 3-10 business days. 

Shipping to the United States generally takes 1 week.

Where do you ship?

Currently, we ship to Canada and the United States.

Shipping Policies:

Please note we have no control over packages once they are with the carrier.

We are not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by customers or if your package arrives and you do not collect it (if applicable) within the allotted time frame. You will be charged full freight to reship the order once it has been returned to us.

Lost Packages:

Please note the following timelines for declaring a package lost. During the month of December these timelines are automatically extended by 2 weeks.

Canada - Tracked: 4 weeks; Untracked (lettermail): 6 weeks

United States - Tracked: 6 weeks; Untracked (lettermail): 8 weeks

Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if you have any issues or concerns regarding your order, please contact us immediately (info@roughbarkknits.com) and we will work together to find a resolution.
